Handmade Paper from the Farm!

Below the pictures of the papermaking process are some examples of artwork that I create from the paper that I make. Click on an image for titles and details.

I made all of the shades of paper used in this piece., there are about six different shades from white to black. I lightly sketched out the image and then tore and pasted each individual piece in place. Vermeer has been an inspiration to me from the first time I saw one of his paintings. I wish I could see one in person because the reproductions are amazing. This collage is 13 X 17 inches mounted on a black board.
